Well trac tickets (bug reports) have been coming in fast and furriously [sic] for the kde4 portfiles in macports. This, is a good thing. It means other people are actually using them. KDE world domination is slowly marching forward and I couldn't be happier about this. Between Nokia internet devices, OS X, Vista, and even Windows 7, KDE everywhere is becoming a reality. Whodathunk?
KDE 4.2 beta2 is also in the wild and if everything works out I''ll have them in -devel portfiles by the end of the day. I think I'll only put up kdelibs, kdepimlibs, kdebase, and kdepim. When I tried compiling these manually after beta1 and they worked. There've been a whole slew of build system changes since then so this might fail miserably. Only one sure way to find out so if you're using the Oh SeX give 'em a try :-) .
I won't test these out myself as I only have so much time in the day but they'll be clearly marked as devel ports w/ nomaintainer so I won't feel bad if they break (or break your system). Speaking of which I need to remember to make them conflict with the 4.1.3 portfiles.
