Two weeks ago today...

It's Sunday, and I'm all alone... which is quite boring. Didn't go to church today but I managed to do some spiritual and religious soul seeking nonetheless. I had a nice chat with God which ended with me reaffirming my faith in the big guy. I believe the colloquial term for such conversations is "prayer". So yeah, I prayed.

I also met some of my neighbors here in Dayton last night. B was having a house party and invited me over. I went to Wendy's (fast food chain) which was closed, came back, and decided to take him up on his offer. It was weird, in a rather familiar way. I was sober and no one else was. The only difference now is that I was surrounded by high school kids instead of college or grad students. Oh, this girl took off her bra, gave it to this other kid to wear on his head, and had her hands covering her breasts for quite some time after that. I think it's safe to say she was wasted, and desperately seeking some attention.

So this how I started off my Sunday. At a party w/ mostly high school underage drinkers. No, I didn't give them a lecture on the evils of what they were doing. I doubt they'd listen and I'm not the lecturing type anyway. I really hope this isn't the highlight of my time here in Dayton Fairborn, but who knows? I had a beer before I left as B kept on insisting and I'd never tried Miller "High Life" before. For those of you who haven't, don't bother, you're not missing out on anything. I threw half of it away.

There's also a very nice, and large park close to where I live which I discovered today. I plan on going there a lot from now on. Much like last night I'm very much bored again. Seeing that tomorrow's Monday I very much doubt there'll be another party with drunk kids for me to amuse myself with so I'll just have to wait it out. Did I mention I have no TV? Or Internet? I'll show a pic of the apartment sometime. It's hilariously empty.
Maybe it's time I finished "The Book of Fate" ...
