Nepomuk actually does work on os x, it just doesn't start automatically. I better file a bug to get this started automatically. Had to run /Applications/KDE4/nepomukservicestub.app/Contents/MacOS/nepomukservicestub nepomukstorage myself. It was also nice enough to segfault after I launched dolphin so I could get my pics. I'd post them but I'm lazy.
