So I'm being a good little boy today and finishing up the coverimagizer nhnfreespirit started helping me with. Looks like I'll need to be reading a little more of my C++ books too. Today's topic: virtual functions. Today's question: Why can't they have explicitly declared destructors? I have to say, looking at other people code makes this coding thing far easier than it would be otherwise. It's also more fun than looking for apartments in Dayton. Moving sucks. Hope I can find someplace close to work though, but I'll worry about that some other day. Still have a week and some days left before I need to be there :-D

What I'm really interested in today is this little gem rangerrick pointed me to this morning. Hopefully, it makes phonon-qt7 work with Amarok. Hey, a guy can dream can't he.

And that patch RangerRick pointed out definitely works. Now we just need to figure out why phonon_qt7 crashes so damn much.

As a matter of fact virtual functions can have explicitly declared destructors. You just need to make sure you actually declare your dtor before you define it.
